Our gallery is filled with a combination of paintings, sculpture, photography, mixed media, furniture, &  jewelry as well as local products such
as honey, beeswax candles, maple syrup, and organic produce when in season & available.

Our long term plan is to convert through restoration and preservation, this historic farm into a reserved destination that involves creative
arts, events, short term stays and organic cultivation centered on appreciating a sustained natural environment.  We are dedicated to
natural living and the preservation of agriculture in the local community.
Besides the 4 historical barn structures, we currently have organic vegetable & herb gardens, a small apple orchard, one rooster, 5
chickens, 6 cats and lots of rolling hills, open meadows, and fresh air......oh and amazing fresh spring water!
A seasonal farm stand located in front of Turquoise Barn Gallery is where we sell organic produce which is grown  using methods from
both permaculture & biodynamic practices.   We also sell  fresh organic blue eggs from our chickens who are pasture fed and
supplemented with organic feed and kelp to make them extra tasty and healthy (the eggs, not the chickens).  Inside the barn you can
purchase local products such as maple syrup, raw honey, & beeswax candles.
What's on  the Farm
Who?
Turquoise Barn is a former dairy farm located in the Western Foothills of New York's Catskill Mountains.   The farm is home to 4 historic
buildings which are now the residence, studio, workshop, and gallery (Turquoise Barn) of two artists formerly of East Williamsburg in
Brooklyn, NY - Michelle Premura & Michael Milton.

Michelle is a mix-media sculptor who graduated from the University of Colorado- Boulder in Fine Arts.   She also graduated as a gemologist
from the Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica, CA and studied jewelry design & manufacturing at the Instituto de Allende in San
Miguel de Allende, Mexico.  Her passion for healthy living led her to become a certified  raw & live food chef and instructor.  Michael  is a
painter, sculptor, & performance artist who graduated from the School of Visual Arts in NYC and with an MFA from the  University of
Colorado in Boulder.
