About the Event:

One of our main goals is to introduce the availability of regional sources of local green & sustainable foods
and products and to educate individuals on ways to incorporate these products and practices into their
lifestyle on a larger and more consistent scale.  The event will include live music, entertainment, expert
speakers, appealing educational activities, and vendor tables to share this valuable information.  Special
guest speakers will include experts on health and diet, renewable energy sources, sustainable agriculture,
and alternative healing.  Live food demonstrations by chefs, samplings and tastings with a variety of foods
and beverages including fresh fruit & vegetable juices, gourmet, and ethnic will also be available.

We will engage bands with a sound and message that is global and culturally sophisticated.  Currently, we
have a line-up of participants including Tokyo Rosenthal, a well known singer/songwriter who is currently
touring in the UK. Tokyo currently has a hit single ranking #5 on the Euro-American Charts and is also at #2
on Hot Disc and #4 on the Independent Music Network.  Tokyo’s record label had contacted us expressing
his interest in performing at the festival in support of our cause.  We have also received numerous emails
from individuals and businesses willing to volunteer time & services for this event.  In addition to the list
above, we have a number of tentative participants and will continue with recruiting efforts.

We have committed volunteers working in NYC and the surrounding area, sending out letters and contacting
potential businesses and individuals with an interest in our cause. Once promotional material is ready for
print, they will also be assisting in distribution.

This event is a great opportunity to promote your business, the Catskill area, and help do your part in
contributing to the health of our planet.
